Good design isn't a luxury anymore, it's a necessity. I firmly believe that. And I do my best to ensure that my clients and employers receive high-quality creative products to help them put their best foot forward.
Any good creative project starts off with a conversation. I want to get to know the project in as much detail as possible before I even think about brainstorming the creative on it. Who is the audience? What is the message? What is the best method of delivery for that message? What different channels will this project be disseminated through?
Using traditional mediums to start, my process always involves planning before any kind of refinement happens. This helps to prevent hiccups in the workflow later on by eliminating any ideas that might not have long-term viability or execute the desired effect clearly. Without a plan, how can you be sure the final product will meet all of your needs?
After concepts have been put together, another conversation will always happen surrounding how to refine a selected concept and dial it in to make sure it's delivering the desired message. I'll zoom in as far as I can and refine those curves, blend those pixels and make sure that your project is as close to perfection as possible.
Once all the dirty work is over and you're satisfied with the way things look, I'll make sure you have everything you need to move forward and execute on your message. Need that new logo in web- and print-friendly file formats? No problem. Have a specific print process you want to use with your magazine? I'll make sure those press files are what your print shop needs.
